Band EnRoute was on fire at Tina’s 40th Birthday and Wedding Anniversary celebrations. I am getting ahead of myself, let’s go back to the beginning. Who is Tina?

Tina Okoh the elegant songstress (if there is such a word), is a U.K. based sister and friend, turned client. She watched Band EnRoute perform at a wedding once, and engaged us right away. A year later on the 19th of February 2011, we played at HER wedding.

Before she left for the U.K., Tina was the most feisty singer in my choir. No matter how difficult a song was, all i needed to do was give it to her, and then give her enough time to learn it. She always delivered on queue. After Tina left, i never got anyone else who could do the songs she used to do, until i left that church.

This is ten years later and she reached-out from across the Mediterranean…, “It is my Birthday ooo, I want to mark it, and your band is playing at my party” and that was it. That’s how we came to be in these photos and video, doing what we do…, performing at Tina’s 40th birthday/wedding anniversary, as she celebrated with close friends and family.

At forty, she is still a follower of Jesus, fun-loving, and a delightfully troublesome person. Ha! Ha! Ha! Happy Birthday my dear friend! May this mark the beginning of another era in your life.
